VK-SITE-CONFIG - StatusReady
This page is ready. Everything below was written from the rules the software actually enforces, and from the tests that hold those rules in place.
What it is for
- How the public temple site looks, and which sections it offers at all.
- There is one settings entry for the whole site, and every section starts switched off.
- A section switched off has no page — the address answers as a missing page and the link disappears from the menu, so nothing half-built is ever reachable.
What it will not let you do
- Create a second settings entry — the site has one. Edit the existing one.
- Choose a default language that is not among the languages the site offers — add it to the offered languages first.
- Delete the settings entry, or change any setting without the Website Publisher role — everyone else sees it read-only.
- Pick a colour of your own — the themes are a fixed set, because each one is measured to stay readable. A free colour would quietly break that.
- Put something on the site by switching its section on alone — each item still has to be published in its own screen. The switch opens the page; publishing fills it.
- Switch off the feedback section without consequence — the code printed on every voucher leads to that page, and it will answer as a missing page while the section is off.
