VK-SITE-CONTACT - StatusReady
This page is ready. Everything below was written from the rules the software actually enforces, and from the tests that hold those rules in place.
What it is for
- What visitors wrote through the site, kept in one place so the office can work through them.
- Nothing is sent onward. The trust replies by phone or from its own mailbox, then marks the message handled here.
- The messages are stored exactly as written, stripped of markup and capped in length, and they hold no link to any devotee, voucher or figure.
What it will not let you do
- Open this screen at all without the Website Publisher role — ask your administrator to grant it.
- Write a message by hand, or delete one — the list only ever fills from the public form. Mark a message handled instead.
- Change anything a visitor wrote — it is all read-only, and the status is the one thing you set.
- Expect the trust to be emailed when a message arrives — nothing is sent onward, by design. Someone must open this screen.
- Receive an unlimited flood from one visitor — too many submissions in an hour are turned away and stored nowhere.
Who can use it
- Website Publisher — edit
- iAdmin — edit
