This page is ready. Everything below was written from the rules the software actually enforces, and from the tests that hold those rules in place.
What it is for
- Lays one category's whole sheet of manoraths onto consecutive dates in a single pass, instead of one entry at a time.
- Only categories marked as driven by the calendar can be planned — that mark is what makes a date mean anything for the offering.
- You give the first date and the rest ladder out from it; any line can then be moved before the dates are created.
- Once the sheet is planned it becomes the Annual Calendar's own entries, and this screen shows them rather than a draft.
What it will not let you do
- Plan a year that has left draft — planning happens before publication, by definition. Return a published year to draft first; a locked year cannot be planned at all, so plan a new year instead. The refusal says which of the two you are facing.
- Plan the same sheet twice into one year — a second set would double every festival. Remove the entries already on the calendar first if you truly mean to plan it again.
- Plan a category with no offering types at this temple yet — there would be nothing to lay out. Add the offering types first.
- Put a line on a date outside the year you are planning — pick a date inside the year, or change the year.
- Add or remove lines in the preview grid — the sheet is the category's offerings. You move dates, not membership.
