Procedure still owed. What this screen is for, what it will refuse, and who can use it are published below and are accurate. What is not published yet is the step-by-step procedure — the order your own people work in is yours to decide, and it will be written with you rather than guessed at.
What it is for
- Every offering the temple can take money for, and how it is priced — a fixed rate from the year, or an amount the devotee names.
- An offering belongs to one temple, and only that temple's counter can sell it.
- An offering whose amount the devotee names may carry a floor beneath which the window will not take it.
What it will not let you do
- Set a negative floor on an offering the devotee prices — enter nothing, or a figure of zero or more.
- Put another temple's tax on this temple's offering — choose one of this temple's, or leave it empty, which is right for a genuine donation.
- Delete an offering type, whatever your role — archive it by unticking Active, and the archiving is written into its history. Vouchers and rate history point at it for years.
- Add or change an offering type at the window — that is the Premise Manager's.
