VK-GOV-CONSENT - StatusReady
This page is ready. Everything below was written from the rules the software actually enforces, and from the tests that hold those rules in place.
What it is for
- Why this devotee's information is held, and whether they may be approached — one entry per devotee, per reason, per premise.
- Two reasons are offered: issuing and reproducing vouchers, and approaching the devotee. A consent for one does not answer for the other, and a consent given at one temple does not answer for another.
- Withdrawal takes effect at once and the entry is kept as evidence — nothing here is ever deleted.
- The same screen also records the trust's own authority to share a figure outward. That is a different kind of entry and only an administrator may record it.
What it will not let you do
- Save a devotee entry with no devotee named — name the devotee the entry is about.
- Save a devotee entry with no reason and no lawful basis — both are required, and holding a number so a voucher can be reissued is a transaction basis, not a consent the devotee was ever asked for. Recording "consent" against a tick nobody offered is worse than recording nothing.
- Put a devotee on an outward-sharing entry — an outward entry authorises a figure, not a person. Switch the kind back to devotee if the entry is about someone.
- Record or change an outward-sharing entry unless you are an administrator — that entry is what lets information leave this temple's books. Recording a devotee's own consent is a different thing and any cashier may do it.
- Relabel an entry from one kind to the other — withdraw it and record the right one.
- Delete an entry, ever, whatever your role — withdraw it. The evidence is the point.
- See another premise's entries — each premise sees its own.
